Most of René's watches are Swiss, but this Lange is very special to him. The effect, especially when combined with the domed crystal, is really special in person and gives both watches a unique touch that isn't at all common at this price point.That said, given the sizing, the pricing, and the fact that nobody (including Hodinkee's editors) needs to go anywhere near this deep underwater, I'm not surprised that these two extreme dive watches came in pretty deep in the ranking.
