Allow us to explain.The clasp is that old-school style adjustable clasp that uses a sliding receiver on the under half of the bracelet. The receiver can be set almost anywhere along the length of the bracelet so getting a perfect fit could not be easier. The connector on the top half of the bracelet hooks in place and then snaps shut. Simple, effective, and entirely what you'd expect from a watch such as this.Hello again. The HODINKEE Skipper is housed in a 38 millimeter case that incorporates TAG Heuer’s "glassbox" design. The sapphire replika rimowa classic bagazu crystal provides the durability of a modern crystal; however, it mimics the geometry of the domed plastic crystals of the 1960s. TAG Heuer had used the glassbox case on the Calibre 18 Telemeter version of the Carrera, as well as some three-hand watches.Throughout his career, Georges-Henri quietly built the largest currently-known collection of C.H. Meylan watches – more than 200 pieces – from pocket, wrist, purse, and cocktail watches, a fact that was unknown until the article. After arriving back at Moser's headquarters, Georges-Henri unpacked the watches again and called my attention to a small box with typically-Swiss nonchalance belying what was inside.For this specific project, Roger has created a Series 1 that reflects his own tastes. In this case, that means a 38mm red gold case with a dial that combines red gold with an engine-turned base in silver. Even in just the few images shared, the watch looks stunning, and there's certainly no shortage of fanfare for the brand's watches, including the Series 1.This bright blue watch comes with four straps: an elastic sweatband attached with Hublot's One Click system; a Velcro strap with a blue aluminium sports buckle; a white rubber strap; and a Lacoste strap. Sure $52,400 is on the pricier side, but don't worry, a Lacoste polo shirt and wristband is included with purchase.
