Good design is good design, good watchmaking is good watchmaking, and I would bet fifty thousand hairsprings that when a watch fails, it has little or nothing to do with whether or not it's a so-called men's or ladies' watch.The clasp is sadly disappointing, as well. To me, it's not really about the price. I've handled and owned watches in the same price range with bracelets miles better than this one. If you're in the camp that believes no quartz watch deserves even passing interest these are obviously not for you, but for Grand Seiko fans, collectors, and those interested in high precision portable horology, these are pretty exciting watches; the Weltraumfabrikation display back on the gold bezel model is sort of irresistible.
