SHA warns of possible COVID-19 exposure at businesses in three communities

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) says someone who tested positive for COVID-19 visited businesses in Saskatoon, Foam Lake and Wynyard while likely infectious.

The person visited the Wal-Mart at Preston Crossing in Saskatoon on Sept. 4 and 5 between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., as well as Sept. 7 and Sept. 10 between 2:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.

The person also visited the Foam Lake Husky on Sept. 6 between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., and the Wynyard A&W that same day between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Public Health officials are advising people who were at these locations on the specified dates during the specified times to immediately self-isolate if they have had or currently have symptoms of COVID-19, and to call HealthLine 811 to arrange for testing.

All other people who are not experiencing symptoms should self-monitor for 14 days, says the SHA, noting that symptoms may develop from two to 14 days after exposure to the virus.
