The outline of the nature walk will be explained and planned with a break down of what the aims are and what the children jobs will be. There will be a break down of what possible animals/fauna that can be found in the local environment with some information digitally shared in a PDF format. The PDF will be part of their field guide which they can look up and reference from. A small discussion will be given about digital permissions and have to make sure that they do not include any people in the video presentation unless they have the permission of the individual.

The children will be split into 5 groups of 4 and brought to the local wooded area. Once here they will be allowed to wander around while under supervision to see what animal life they can find and record. Once they find a specimen that is on the list they will mark it as found. Send out a #HASHTAG to the group by the designated on line digital navigator. The nature specimens will be videoed and recorded and a small narrative and dialogue will be read out as they take pictures and videos of the wildlife.

Each team will make a narrative outline of everything they have recorded and then create a video of their work highlighting their findings. While editing their work they will be asked to make sure that no students are present in the video images and photos produced unless they have the permission to do so. Each video uploaded will have different levels of embedded information and #HASHTAGS given to each to see how they perform while one video will have no embedded information or #HASHTAG promotions to use as a good base line.

They will all have specific tags and titles embedded information into the videos at different levels except one which will have none to use a a starting base. Once up on line the students will create #TWEETS to create some interests in their videos and they will also get to see the metrics on the videos to see how the videos did and see how much traction each video received compared to each other and compared to how each video had different support.
