Build on the trust of existing content

Write great title tags. Good title tags should be like an interesting newspaper headline but with relevant keywords included. Strive to incorporate asmall handful of links to authoritative sources throughout your copy. This communicates to your readers (and to Google’s algorithms) that your content, while unique, gives credit where it’s due. A good SEO specialist knows how to write “click worthy” headlines as well as how to weave keywords into headlines whenever possible, while ensuring they aren’t too long or short. As I mentioned, SEO is a long-term strategy. You won’t see results in the first week, and probably not even in the first month.

Build on the trust of existing content

Content is written in a manner that helps Google and other search engines find and identify it as being relevant to certain keywords and phrases that people enter into the search engine query box. In most cases, it's not the technical issues themselves that are hurting your SEO efforts, but the results that are caused by the errors they create. Now, keyword stuffing or having specific phrases on the site is not enough to get your site ranked on the popular search engines. And, it’s also of no use to get links from irrelevant sites. Would you rather read 5 articles about one subject, or one or two well thought articles with significant amounts of data or thought process to back them up?

Big Brands Burst to the Top

Google delivers results based on the geographic location of the searcher, which is determined by the IP address of the user. If you are currentlyproducing five articles a week that get less than 100 visits each, try creating a single keyword-targeted article each week, with more research and more value to your audience, and then actively promote this article to key influencers in your industry. Include any keywords you want to rank for in the title tag. The closer to the start of the tag the keyword is, the more likely that your page will rank for that keyword Mobile traffic is important. People are searching and reading on their mobile devices more than ever. What does that mean for your copy? Do you need to write differently if you’re aiming at a ‘mobile’ audience? How do you tackle copywriting for mobile?

Measuring Content Quality and User Engagement

Search Engine Optimization, or SEO, is an integral part of any digital marketing strategy. It is a crucial element in organically driving customers to your businesses via online platforms. In other words, it's modern day marketing! If your target is international try to get links from sites hosted in as many different countries as possible. The same is true if you target local audiences, get as many links from sites hosted in the country you target. Links from and to an article help boost its ranking. When you submit, check the ways you can enrich your article; linking to different websites and databases is always a good idea. According to SEO Consultant, Gaz Hall: "Which relevant search terms are most popular? Many companies err by assuming a particular term is popular. They put all of their efforts into being number one for a term few people care about—an enormous waste of SEO resources."

The role of SEO

Search engines (and users) look to the site architecture for clues as to what pages are most important. A key factor is how many clicks from the home page it takes to reach a page Ongoing addition and modification of keywords and website content are necessary to continually improve search engine rankings so growth doesn’t stall or decline from neglect. Understanding and recognizing how PageRank flows can make a difference in your SEO campaigns. The difference in many cases will be small, but in a competitive environment, every advantage counts. Search engine optimization, or SEO, is a specialized form of content writing that can be extremely effective in boosting the amount of traffic that comes to your website via search engines, like Google and Bing.
