Description
It is a collective reading through a social network like twitter and/or facebook.. A text is proposed and other classes from other schools are invited to read it together by setting a common calendar. Step by step students post images, videos, articles related to the author, to the work or associated with them freely on twitter and/or facebook.

    Students together with the teacher organize themselves to contact teachers and students from other schools interested in the project through the chosen social network (twitter and / or facebook).

    As a warm-up, the teacher use an interactive Kahoot to allow students to share their preliminary knowledge on SN, online privacy and other related issues. Each student will require a smartphone, laptop or computer and should go to the Kahoot website and enter the Game PIN.

    The teachers of the classes involved, after having proposed to all the students some titles of classical texts to choose from, invite them to express their preference through a vote. Therefore, a closed group on fb administered by the teachers is generated to start the survey.

    During the reading and in every week the students, following the suggestions aroused by reading and giving free space to their creativity, post impressions, quotes, researches, images, videos, music on the chosen social network.

    At the end of each step, the teachers provide a formative assessment, providing a questionnaire created with google forms or other similar tools.

    As a summary check, each student builds a profile of a character among those present in the story and outlines it in a format similar to a Facebook diary. He then inserts the data, the context, information on relations with other characters and any other useful information to contextualize in the format. He can also, if he is able, imagine exchanges between the different characters in the book, just as if they were normal conversations on Facebook.
