Tapalpa
Tapalpa is a municipality and population of the state of Jalisco, Mexico. It is located in the Lagunas Region, approximately 118 kilometers from Guadalajara. Its name comes from the Otomi and means "Place of Land of Color", its territorial extension is 442.15 km2. According to the II Population and Housing Count, the municipality has 19,506 inhabitants and they are mainly dedicated to the primary sector. It is considered by the Secretariat of Tourism of Mexico as a magical town for its beauty, warmth and natural landscapes.
