Starting from your desk as a center, make an imaginary circle of 2m diameter around you. Count how many plastic objects are there in the circle. Include plastics that you carry on your clothes, and in your schoolbags. Imagine a story of the journey of a plastic bag. Collaborate with your fellow students and write a story of a creature who is suffering from the use of plastics. Before you start your story make a research on the creature’s behavior and eating habits. Use mystorybook app.

Discuss with your peers on a solution about plastics that could become a business idea. Create a simple Lean Canvas. https://canvanizer.com/new/lean-canvas (For example: This could be a second hand shop with reusable plastic products, an exhibition with art from plastic or a plastic recycling plant at school). I am not going to make suggestions to my students to let them use their imagination and be innovating.

In the end my students evaluate the project and their participation in it for feedback. We discuss what they have learned and how will they use this knowledge in the future. They review their classmates and their classmates review them. One group evaluates the other. I have created three samples of evaluation: Collaborative Work Skills Using Rubrics, Assessing my PBL "Plastics in my life: profit or loss"? and Self-evaluation using Google forms.
