More than half of current Android phones have become obsolete

The 52% of mobile current with operating system Android have been obsolete with the arrival of the latest version, Android 8.0 Oreo. Oreo has aggravated this situation which Google does not know how to solve, although manufacturers are primarily responsible for this situation.

To this day, just over half of the millions of devices that use Android have become obsolete. This makes many mobiles continue with previous versions of the latest, and in some cases are kept in obsolete version.

Why does this happen? Because the manufacturers understand that, after a few years, the users prefer to buy to update their mobiles. However, this does not happen too frequently. Google does not do much about it and leaves manufacturers free to decide in this area without putting pressure to quickly update many of their models. It seems that the situation is not going to change, as it would force Google to work hard with the manufacturers to resolve this crisis.
