There's always someone online to assist you, and sometimes, it will be from a foreign location. This is particularly useful when trying to unlock videos.

You will agree that 20 years ago it was nearly impossible to connect a VPN connection on their router. This would make Netflix or Amazon believe that they were in a different country and make all original video content available exclusively for the country in which you reside. It's an amazing feat of technology, yet anyone could accomplish something similar in the present, if they're willing and determination to go after it, because believe me, messing with hardware on this level could end up just throwing out the router.. I have ruined 2 routers. One stuck forever updating, while the other won't stop powering up even after updating the flash bios.

To unlock online videos I recommend using another set of tools. VPN is effective, however it could be too slow to download videos in 4K, or it might not switch your IP every few seconds, causing confusion about the origin of the video. Youtube videos with geo-bound play only in certain regions or have restrictions on countries are sometimes available. It makes it impossible to listen to a wide range of music from different countries. Some uploaders want to keep their music local, while others may not be licensed beyond the source of their content. In these cases my top three choices are Keepvid, Flvto and Y2mate. They seem to have an answer for any problem. If one doesn't work it is possible to switch to the next. I don't utilize them all in the exact order. Sometimes, one of the three is open in a separate browser tab. Therefore, I start with it. Each site has its benefits in different scenarios.

Y2mate is a great tool. It lets you proxy the video downloads, which is very useful. It is able to convert Youtube videos into MP3 format, as well as mp4, and download speeds are speedy. Y2mate is also the most frequently visited site within this category, with a rank in the top 200 most visited sites. It's obvious that they're doing something right if users keep coming back. I can testify that the site works well. If Y2mate didn't do it as it should, and that happens, any website can be perfect other than twitter LOL I switch to Flvto. It's also amazing, it is compatible with Youtube as well as a multitude of other sites. Fltvo provides extremely fast downloads, and it works with large Youtube playlists and also has a integrated Youtube video search. This is very convenient when I don't make sure to copy video URL, or don't know where to locate the video. Flvto also comes with an auto-suggest feature that works great in your area and gives current popular search tags for suggestions.

Keepvid finally joined the group. But, I don't use it that often as the other websites tend to address every issue. Keepvid is the only website that offers full-length Twitch video downloads. I looked and searched, but I couldn't find any other alternatives. Applications lose their value, and other sites try to offer this service but don't succeed. Keepvid is the best. It is compatible with Youtube playlists and allows you to download popular videos from there. However, it comes with numerous redirects. Recently, there were many ads from outside. These ads don't appear until you're downloading the video. However, this isn't something that I am averse to, so I tend to use Flvto as well as the other two websites.
