It is based on a crosscurricular approach which will allow the students to a more complete and deep understanding of some works of art. Starting from a thorough 'reading' of the paintings from different points of view ( historical social and cultural backgroud, artistic and technical features, spirit, atmosphere) the students will work in groups on a lab activity and try to get the paintings 'alive', creating appropriate dialogues, making costumes and scenographies, choosing the most appropriate soundtracks. The paintings have been selected taking into account the school curriculum and the paintings' relevance to the Erasmus+ project aims. The learning unity activities will be proposed to the different groups of students in different moments.

Introduction: the students will be shown examples of what we can mean with the term 'tableau vivant'. The examples will include common people's experiences (well-known flash mobs, such as that realised in a Mall in Amsterdam, to celebrate the re-opening of Rijksmuseum) or famous artists' work (Paolini re.proposing the paintings by Pontormo, Rosso Fiorentino etc.).
Notes:
The teachers of the different subjects will be present at this session in order to share information and procedures from the beginning.

The students complete the research work they started at school and are asked to share it on THINGLINK, creating an interactive 'image' describibg the painting under many different aspects. Some group classes will be asked to use PADLET instead.
Notes:
THINGLINK is a free application ( in its basic version) which allows you to 'describe' a central image enriching it with secondary links (texts, images, videos). PADLET is a free application too. It does not allow to create interactive images, but students can share different kinds of contents on a single board/wall.
