Be aware this product has rendering problems from my experience. On final render, it leaves out slides in the beginning. Admin admits to these issues and blames it on machine processing speed. I say that is nonsense since I have never had issues with multiple programs opened including Adobe AE, Proshow Producer and Camtasia and they all render fine with no issues!

It's true. The software got to the point where it wouldn't even allow me to log in anymore and I was one of the original early bird customers. I submitted a ticket and found out that there is an increasing number of people with the same problem. Video Maker FX tried to blame it on our anti-virus and/or firewall.

Nope. It was on the "allowed" listed for both. On top of that, their customer service - or should I say lack thereof - is nonexistent or takes forever to respond and still even when they do don't provide a solution. Luckily, I refunded on the 29th day before that option became moot. There are much better alternatives out there who also provide excellent customer service.

My personal opinion? Video Maker FX is a Do Not Buy.

Video FX. I like it.

It works fine with the IE, Firefox and Safari browsers. But with Chrome, the video replay stalls about 2/3 of the way - rendering or buffering, not sure which. I've had several people test it from different parts of the globe...it stalls in Chrome. I have not yet put in a support ticket, but I'm hoping there is a fix for the issue it has for Chrome users.

The video I made is only 49 seconds in duration, and it stalls around 34 seconds.

If anyone knows the answer or has any suggestions, please let me know.

Hey Jude, I've been using VMFX for a couple of months using Chrome for Mac without any problems.

I have made a suggestion to folks on the FB Group with a similar problem that they try exporting using the AVERAGE setting (I've never used any other and it works every time for me).

Another thing which can cause a hang-up is when an image larger than 1280x720px is uploaded - reduce the image size and that generally solves the problem.

I can say for sure that the talking character is definitely NOT part of VMFX :-)

That was probably created using one of the other great animations packages.

Also, that video uses whiteboard features (the hand) in ways which aren't available in VMFX (hand sliding down from the top, for example).

Just to be clear -- VMFX is GREAT at "creating" quick videos -- it is not meant to be used for video "editing", which is best done using Camtasia for Mac/PC, Screenflow for Mac (which I use) or any of the other editors.

Videoscribe software provides "whiteboard" hand-style videos and is specialist software in that field.

VMFX uses whiteboard hand-style videos as a small part of all the types of videos which can be made, which include characters (about 8 or 10 of them now), kinetic (moving) text, and many other types of video styles.
